I hate grocery stores in general, but this one is extremely family friendly. Lots of animatronics for kids. Fresh dairy. The prepared food section is unbelievable. Quality products. Do not sleep on their (in-store popped) chocolate covered rice cakes. Fun layout, super friendly staff. Great vibe.

The best ice cream, and baked goods ever. I also love their seasonal milks. My son loves going here and pushing all the buttons and talking to the people that work there. Produce is fresh, and I’ve enjoyed their prepared food as well. They even have fresh dole whips !

I went to Stew Leonard’s today for the first time, I can’t say I was having a particularly good day and upon checking out I met Linda at her register. She was the most wonderful person I could have ever met, she shared some positive health news she recently received and was the brightest light on a pretty shitty day. I was so moved by her happiness we exchanged a hug. It’s nice there’s still good people in this world :) great supermarket too!

Another great Stew Leonard's with knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The wines and spirits are also at this location. Great prices, products and overall quality.

Very friendly people there. We got to meet Produce Pete, Betty, Susan and his daughter. Was a surprise for my wife Lisa. We are big fans who watch him every week on channel 4. The meat and produce we purchased from Stew Leonards was top quality. We even asked a manager if they were opening up a store in Staten Island. The ride there wasn’t bad form our home. A few minutes off the turnpike exit 16w. The characters in the store told nice stories and sang songs. It was our first time at Stews and won’t be our last.

Consistently one of the best spots for fresh produce, meat, and seafood. Great sale prices on some high quality products at times. Possibly not the best spot for your more mundane items as they don't always have the biggest selection or best price on the basics, but definitely worth a trip for the good stuff regardless. Good selection of beer, wine and liquors too.

Stew Leonard's cannot be beat! It's like a supermarket amusement park! Like Shop Rite meets Six Flags. This place is crazy! It's almost overwhelming, in a good way. They've got everything and they make a good chunk of it in-house. They've got a loaf of homemade garlic bread that could choke a horse! And it's only $5 bucks! Their liquor section is off the charts, too!

First of all this was dum luck my daughter knew of this place and I'd never heard of it. She asked me to try it out what could it hurt? This store is the one stop shop for everything. I love the robotic animals singing. All kinds of coffee! Great liquor and wine! Fresh cuts of meat and fish. Fresh bread. The people at this store were wonderful. All the staff so friendly and helpful. I would advertise for free for this store. I'm getting up there in age and have gone from people loving the job they did to being use to people being rude and hating what they do. Not this store! Bravo! I won't shop anywhere else!
